Ruth believes we are called to give back to others who need help to either save lives or want help saving their own lives. By serving others in need and unconditionally loving them for where they are in their growth journey, we serve as stewards for others. We cannot truly love when we operate from judgement; by operating with compassion, grace and patience, we will continue to make the world a better place.

Ruth started Accounting Pros in 1997 as an at home business in MN before moving to CO. Over the years, AP has given back to the community in many ways by supporting the following Non-Profits:

  • Care and Share - Soup kitchen volunteering, stocking food shelves
  • Springs Rescue Mission - Serving the homeless by assisting with food procurement, interviews, clothes and showers
  • DumYon Martial Arts - Donating time and money to the cause; this non-profit helps disabled/blind individuals, women and children learn to better defend themselves and grow their self confidence. DumYon has taken a number of people to the special Olympics!
  • Shield 616 - Supporting our first responders, police, firefighters and paramedics to be equipped with the right safety equipment for the community.
  • Fresh Starts - Provides money and time to bring the recovering community together by bringing AA, NA, CA, ACA and Al-Anon meetings into a facility to work with getting them into the 12 step program.

Meet Our Team

  • Kat Bio Picture Amy Manager Amy is a native of Colorado and married to her high school sweetheart. They have 3 children. They love spending time as a family. Amy has spent the last 25 years as a Certified Paralegal working with attorneys and preparing for trials. She spent 10 years in the legal field as a Director for a large firm managing and overseeing their staff. Serving others is Amy's utmost priority in life.

  • Kat Bio Picture Kat Director Kat graduated from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University, and has worked in Consumer Lending, Credit Management and Private Banking. She supports the team and clients with strategic development, improving their workflows and processes with her outside of the box thinking. Kat loves to read, be outdoors, rollerskate, and spend time with her 3 children!

  • Bobbi Bio Pic Bobbi Tax Preparer Bobby is a retired veteran but still manages to keep on top of all tax related tasks at hand. She loves sunflowers and looks forward to enjoying retirement.

  • Jen Bio Pic Jen Office Assistant Jen has had a fulfilling career as an art teacher, and has spent much time working with children. She now enjoys riding her motorcycle in her spare time when she can, and helps with filing and administrative tasks in the office.

  • Michelle Bio Pic Michelle Lead Accountant Michelle is our Lead Accountant, surprisingly an introvert - she enjoys reading and spending time with her grandson. She enjoys puzzles, and Baby Yoda. Not the Star Wars franchise, only the original 3, and specifically, Baby Yoda.

In her spare time, she enjoys writing, reading, quiet, rock and blues music. She has read over 500 Batman comics. There are only 931 out in production, yes you should be impressed!
